Kaya Coffee Table for Wewood

Kaya coffee table is a celebration on craftsmanship, materials and spatial harmony. The design is guided by traditional cabinetmaking methods. Structural joinery defines the construction and visible connections provide strength and highlight the natural grain of the wood. It acknowledges what lies between shapes, between lines.

A harmonious combination of materials—wood, stone and subtle brass details—creates a refined and balanced presence.

The design draws deep inspiration from the aesthetics of the Japanese tea ceremony. Kaya reflects a sense of quietness and intention. Its name, meaning “restful place” or “home” in Japanese, also refers to a type of natural wood.
